The Last Post? – The Silent Eye

I was so moved by this blog post, I couldn’t help but reblog it. I urge you to take the time to read it. It’s worth your investment of time, believe me.

I choose how I will spend the rest of my life

This may be the final post that I get chance to write for the Silent Eye… that decision has been taken out of my hands. I spent much of last week in hospital, having, as many of you know, been diagnosed with incurable small cell lung cancer last September. It has been an interesting and…

Dear Sue, I just looked on Amazon for the books you write and discovered that you write about witchcraft. I know that the powers of witchcraft are real, because my paternal grandfather practised witchcraft. He loved me very much and designated me as his sole heir. I know you know what that means.

I was thirteen years old when he died. He was in California and I was over one thousand miles away in Missouri. I was sitting in a class at school when suddenly I knew that my grandfather had just died. No one had told me that he was terminally ill, but suddenly I knew. My certainty and grief were so strong, I asked to be excused to go to the restroom and there I cried. When I got home that day, my mother met me as I was coming in the door and said “I have some bad news for you.” She was shocked when I interrupted her and said “I already know. My grandfather died today.”

As a result of his legacy, I went through a lot of extreme experiences. I am writing a memoir to tell the story. For me, the bottom line is this: eighteen years ago, shortly before my 50th birthday, I came to believe this, with all of my heart, because the preponderance of the evidence compels me to believe:

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame. ~Romans 10:9-11

I don’t write about witchcraft, nor practice it… esoteric thought is not the same thing and leads only to the Light.

I’m sorry! The books I found on Amazon on the topic of witchcraft must have been written by a different Sue Vincent.

Or perhaps Amazonhave put their own categories togther. I write about the esoteric path… which some confuse with witchcraft, which one particular belief system.
